From the on-site rental and retail at Rhythm, to the ultra convenient ski locker system and shuttle service, you won’t have to worry about transporting your equipment or walking long distances with your ski gear in tow. You can be on the mountain enjoying Niseko’s famous powder snow within moments, by following five easy steps to enjoy the snow at Setsu Niseko.
Step 1 - Arrive in Niseko
The first step in any Niseko ski holiday is to make your journey to the hotel. The Setsu concierge team are ready to help you organise your transport from the airport, including assistance with ski rentals and ski lessons. Upon arrival, explore our facilities, and settle into your luxury home away from home.
Step 2 - Rent your equipment
Once you are feeling settled, head to our on-site ski boutique managed by snowsports specialists Rhythm Japan. Rhythm provides you with a one-stop-shop for all your ski and boarding needs. The comprehensive store offers premium equipment to buy or rent and a wide range of the latest ski apparel to ensure you are ready to hit the slopes in style. You can collect your gear from 3pm the day before your first ski day, or head into the store in the morning if you prefer.

Step 3 - Relax and get energised for your day on the slopes
Once you’ve visited Rhythm to be professionally fitted with your equipment, wander down to méli mélo -Yuki No Koe- and enjoy a cup of coffee or bite to eat.
While you sit back, relax, and indulge in some delicious BARISTART coffee or fuel up on a delicious breakfast buffet, let the team at Rhythm arrange for your equipment to be transported to your personal heated ski locker for safe storage. Savour the flavours of local Hokkaido produce, prepared under the watchful eye of Michelin star awarded Chef Sato.
Once you have eaten and are energised for your day of skiing and snowboarding, make your way to the ski lockers and collect your equipment.
Our ski locker facilities provide a safe space for you to store your equipment while you are in the hotel. The ski lockers are located next to the shuttle, so you can easily access your equipment when you are ready to hit the slopes.
Step 4 - Be transported directly to the ski hill
Now that you have your equipment ready, it is time to go skiing. We understand how important it is to easily access the ski mountain each day. Setsu Niseko provides a hotel ski shuttle service to and from the Grand Hirafu ski slopes to ensure you have convenient access. You can choose to be dropped at the Gondola or DotBase. Our shuttles run continuously, so you can leave directly from the Setsu ski lockers, and we will drop you off directly at the slopes.
Should you wish to venture to a nearby ski resort, our concierge team would be happy to help arrange transportation for you.
Alternatively, the Hanazono Resort Shuttle departs from the Setsu Niseko Lobby, and the Niseko United Ski Shuttle pick up point is only a few minutes walk from the hotel.
